Description
Waiting For Guffman
Warlords
starring David Carradine
Wax Works 2
In an alternate world there's a plot to poison King Arthur and replace him w/ a wicked wizard look alike, for dining entertainment (as usual LOL) there are jugglers, fire eaters and gee... would ya believe... a belly dancer with a boa or python, looks somewhat like Delilah, not sure who it was, but of course he is being poisoned while she is seducing him from paying attention to such, and she starts wavering in and out of focus as the poison takes hold, so last thing he sees was her... geez! Are we wicked Mata Hari's, Salome's, Queens of Sheba all, or is this male fantasy (or fear...) -- Amira
We Got It Made!
Wee Wee Monsieur - Three Stooges
A Three Stooges short. Curley, Larry and Moe, as Foreign Legionnaires ("You foreign legion? We American Legion!") infiltrate the harem of a stereotypical Sultan. All of the harem girls, of course, are suspiciously American: one of the short's many funny lines: the girl Curley flirts with tells him she's from the old neighborhood: "Toidy-toid & Toid Avenah. I just came ovah." It's strictly Hollywood Arabian Nights stuff (though the sight of the Stooges dancing with the "Harem girls" is flat out hilarious) but overall the short ranks among the Stooges' best. - Paul B

(1942) Hedy Lamarr plays Tondelayo, an island girl who betters herself by mesmerizing the white officer in charge into giving her money, gifts, trinkets, fabric... to his ultimate demise - in fact one of the officers is carted off a physically and mentally ruined man - on the verge of madness. Actually, I didn't find her dance quite that mesmerizing... -- Aziza Sa'id

Will Smith
Has anyone seen the new movie "Wild Wild West"? Well, here's a picture for you:Will Smith as a M.E./B. Dancer!!!It was absolutely hilarious! Luckily, in the story line, he wasn't supposidly doing an actual dancer, just someone in discuise (because the dancing was, well....you'll see).--Tarifa til-Jamila
Wizard of Speed and Time, The
feature film "The Wizard of Speed and Time" has some quick shots of three or four women in bedlah who were recruited as "extras" for the recreation of the filming of the original short animated film "The Wizard of Speed and Time" (if you followed that). They're visible in the set-up shot and in the take for the scene in the film where the gang of women comes running down the hill to be in time to see the Wizard when he passes by. There's no telling if they were really dancers or just women who fit in the costumes, but it was still fun to see them.
