I love your site! I came here because of the patterns you offered for the skirts. They are fabulous and I can't wait to make one. Then I saw all the pics and read your bio. Wow! I am a fan now and I hope to see you perform one day. I took your online course on the "shoulder shimmy" and it has opened my eyes on what to look for in teacher. I'm only a very beginner but i love your descriptions and precision you made of what i thought was a simple movement that used alot of shoulder work, the way I was shown. Thank you for putting out such great info and site!

Hi Aziza, I've came to visit your websites so many times but I can't seem to get enough. I finally got a chance to see you last year in Cairo Carnivale. You were just wonderful. I've been a taking bellydance classes since 1996 and has been teaching beginning classes since 1997 but I still consider myself an intermediate student. When I grow up to be a dancer, I would like to be just like you! I'm looking forward to your workshop in Riverside in March. Thank you for sharing information. Such a great website!
Great site! In the dancers directory, I came across a dance friend from over 20 years ago. We re-connected to say hello! Love the e-card site!
Great site - if anyone knows where I can purchase a copy of the film 'Dahab', with Fayruz, please email me!
Great web pages best wishes from Istanbul and Turkish painters www.lesartsturcs.com
Hi, I was looking at your site and I just wanted to say a few short words. I thought your site was awesome. Me and my sister want to learn how to do basic belly dancing moves so I think your site will be a great help to us even though as you said, belly dancing can't be learned on line that you need a real teacher. I thought it was really great how for the Hip Drop and Lift it showed how the legs should look beneath the pants. That was a trumendous amount of help! Best wishes for you in the future.
hi to all music-lovers around the world !
Aziza, i like you page is very interesting, i would like to see more videos. Congratulations!
I am a dork and i just wanted to sign a guestbook. -lesleigh gonzales
Good site Aziza.
Hi AZIZA- I've seen you dance and today is the first time I've seen your site. I especially fell in love with the beautiful love story of you and your husband. It is so nice to be so loved. My friend, Isiris, sent me an e-mail from your site and I loved them. I sent one back to her and must thank her for sending me to your site. You are a wonderful dancer and person. I've met you briefly a couple of times throughout my dance career and I only hear good things about you. Have a Happy New Year and may it bring happy and joyous times in your dancing and personal life. amira Iriz
So far, I've only looked at the shoulder shimmy pages -- and I'm FLOORED! What a wonderful wonderful way to explain! What a beautifully designed site! What a clever way to show body movements on line (and at a usable bandwidth!!)! I will absolutely be poring over this entire site -- but I HAD to express my astonishment and delight at your excellent site (and I'm a web designer by trade!)
Aziza, Habibti.. Congratulations on you marriage and your wonderful website. Very comprehensive and informative. Very well done. Come and visit my site soon. Lots of love and happy new year to all.
I love this site but I need more info on some belly dancing items i can use to make my dancing look a little better
Wonderful site!

Wow!..Eye popping, stunning dancer and website. It's a pleasure to visit here. Bravo! Well done.
I thoroughly love your website! I especially enjoyed the on-line belly dance lessons. What a great job! I hope to see more on-line dance instruction in the future.
Hi! I love your site! Bellydance is really fun and excercising. I have a web site (see above). It's not finished yet. I was wondering if I could put a link to your site on my web page. Could you please e-mail me and tell me? Thank you!
Cool site!
Hi Aziza, I came across your link and enjoyed visiting your comprehensive, creative, and beautiful website (including the tech writing part, as I am a former tech writer myself--now on sabbatical to study and perform on violin). I also remember a seminar you taught some years ago while I still lived in San Diego. It took place in El Cajon and was most enjoyable!
Yes it's me from Memphis, Denver, San Jose, Florida, Lebanon, Syria, Albuquerque, and a few other places around the world. It was so nice to see you in St. Louis and congratulations on winning the Competition sponsored by DesertMoonAcademy. It was really a tough competition - you were wonderful.
I love your Olympics! But, the Zoo Zar should give extra points if the guest of honor's dog actually bites you during your performance. A bonus is appropriate if no one realizes the dog has bitten you until the dance is over and you show them the teeth marks.
I just about laughed myself sick reading the Belly Dance olympics. That was great!
The humor section-Belly Dance Olymics was hilarious. It made my day. Thanks so much for the great chuckles.
Hi Aziza Just come to your site for a quick update, visit regularly. Your drumming lessons are fab and I really must have a go. I've had a darabuka for ages and never really done anything with it. I've been generally out of the dance for about 2 years and now getting back into it. Super duper! Wish I was in the States, you have much more going on than here in the UK. I will visit one day!! Keep up the good work. Linn xxx
enjoyed your web site. so much to see and learn about.will visit again. do you know of any belly dancing clubs in uk.CHEERS.
Great Site.
Dear Aziza I've just started learning something about this woderful Mid-Eastern dance here in a small city in the south of Brazil where I live and I'm enthralled already. After having found your site, I must say that you're going to help me to become a practitioner of this art so complete your site is. And I'll talk about it to my teacher and friends. Thanks for your comprehensive grasp of what this art is and for helping people through it. Marta Elisa
Great site! Lots of info.---Maria
Hello, I just found your site and I honestly think that its the best bellydance site that I have ever visited. I love everything from the online lessons (how clever!) to the old movie pictures. I learned a lot about costumes, makeup and wigs (my blonde bob makes me feel so unexotic!) As soon as I have a decent picture of myself I'll send it in and I have already emailed all my local bellydancing friends your URL! what a goldmine! I hope you keep up the great work. Thanks heidi (Rominah)
Always on the look out for new MP3s. Check out www.jamwithpam.com
I am a North-African Arab woman who has danced all my life. I recently married and moved to America. Your website is fun and beautiful, and shows dance-related subjects in the most tasteful and professional manner. I am moving to Nevada soon, and would like to meet you some day. Good luck.
thank you for the opportunity of seeing your website. i would like to continue looking at your other entries. thanks.
Dear Aziza, See your posts often on the med-dance list. I love your online lessons. I've taken middle eastern dance now for almost 5 years, with approximately 2-3 classes a week with different instructors. I've also danced in a local "volunteer" troupe for 2 years. The lesson on shoulder shimmies was VERY enlightening. No one in this area teaches the movement from the back, just the shoulders. No wonder my arms hurt!! :) Keep up the great lessons, I'll be back for more. Yours in dance, Zafira
Dear Aziza: :)
I just had to write and tell you that I "thoroughly" enjoyed your web site! I don't think I've ever visited a web site that made me want to rush out and sign up for the next class, workshop, etc. right off the bat like that. :) Well done. I'm so inspired by the creativity, expression, and thought put into the pages. Anyway, you give the reader/dancer a "feel" for who you are, and that's really nice..to see the soul behind the pages. I design web sites, graphics, etc., and I'll tell you it's one of the most difficult tasks in creating an "atmosphere" on the web with that sparkle of personality emblazoned throughout!
Thank you for putting the site up. I've visited it often, recommend it to my students, friends, and family, and plan to revisit often. Having gotten all that out of the way... when will you be holding a workshop/seminar on the Gulf Coast?? :)
Blessings, dear. Jalilah Sahar
Dear Aziza,

Dear Aziza Said,
Thank you for sharing your stunning photographs with the med-dance list. So many of your poses evoke old 19th century paintings of Egyptian and North African dancers -- simply breathtaking!

Hi Aziza!
I just wanted to tell you how marvelous you were. We enjoyed your dancing thoroughly. You truly made Dale's 70th birthday a very memorable one!!! He tells everyone about you. He was like a kid in a candy shop!! I knew he'd love it.He must have shown 20 people your video already. I think he enjoys watching it and is just looking for excuses to see it again - :-)
Take care, and thank you again,
Joy
Aziza,
What a great homepage!! I love the pictures showing u in a flamenco costume^^. All the best to u and ((I love u))!!
Aziza,
The on-line instruction is great! Centering the so-called "shoulder" shimmies in the back of the chest does make a big difference in the visable motion in front, and it's a lot easier, too. Your very comprehensive website is very much appreciated by me.I have admired and used it on occasion for several years, but haven't left a thank you until now. You may remember me from Rocky's Turkey trip in '98.(I think that was the year.)
Aziza,
congratulations! it's a fantastic site, I never thought I'd find anything like this on the web. As a belly dancer myself, I had great fun following the dancing instructions. Good explanations! Very nice pics!
Salaam!
"You Are The One" ;) http://www.mp3.com/maxc
very cool site. which cd's would you recommend for bellydancing?Note from Aziza: For performance, I like Hijaz City, Bayyat State. For classical Arabic, I like Best Of Om Kolthoum. For Turkish, I like Gypsy Fire. For ethnic listening music, I like Escalay - Water Wheel. For ethnic dance music, I like Music of Upper and Lower Egypt. For modern sound, I like Cairo To Casablanca. And for something really passionate and interesting, try the soundtrack from Steam.
Thank you so much for your "lesson on line"! I really appreciated it!! Also, Congratulations on your marriage!
What CD can I find Seni Sevdi Goenlum Yine Seveceh on?Note from Aziza: This is one of my all-time favorite songs... John Bilezikjian often plays this for me when I have the opportunity to dance with him live, and, indeed, included it on his Magic of Bellydance CD at my request. John's music is available at: http://www.dantzrecords.com/bellyd.htm
Hello Aziza! Your homepage is simply marvellous!!! It is the best for a person who loves belly dance like me! Thank you thank you thank you!
I came in to check out the Arabian Nights At Sea 2000 photos. I couldn't find them but i found lots of other cool stuff. Looking forward to the debut of the "scuba gallery" Love Rick ps. I had a dream the other night about being on a cruise ship, in the carribean, and there were bellydancers everywhere.I woke up in a sweat-----Note from Aziza: you can find the Arabian Nights At Sea cruise info and gallery at: http://www.ArabianNightsAtSea.com

Ahlan Vesahlan, salam elykum Eva

I think that this kind of dance should be taught everywhere because it is a great way to keep in shape and have fun at the same time and your web site is great.
Great pages ! Was the only one from where I could find some information about Sara Black's book The Supple Body. I bought it couple years ago from the little bookshop in Turku. Anywhere else I haven't seen it. Thanks !

Hi Megan
I'm at Emma's and we're playing with a new AOL e-mail account we set up for Emma on a trial basis for one month. Emma sends her best wish to the bridal couple. I can only hook her up on weekends to see if she has any e-mail. We hyperlinked to you via one of the messages you sent to me regarding Gore and the Bill of Rights. I've been forwarding some of them to Emma for her enjoyment.
Love Linda And Love Emma
