Hi friends,

Did you practice the last lesson? Did you try to hear some songs and did you try to look for the Maksoom and Baladi rhythms in this songs? Who spend more time in practice for sure will get more benefit .

Well, try to remember these exercises and practice each one for 3 min before starting today's lesson.

Remember the 9th exercise: repeat with each click one dom and one tak, also be sure that you don't let any space between the dom and the tak and you are splitting the time equally for the dom and the tak.

Do you know ,what you just did? You just played the Saidi rhythm , and this will lead us to talk about the Saidi Rhythm Group. Yes, Saidi has a big group and could be played with many different ways. Saidi is a very beautiful folk rhythm, and the name Saidi comes from El Said, it's a big state located in south Egypt.
